HUTTERITE COLONY TOUR | Departing from Medicine Hat
Saturday May 11 2019 | Day Tour From Medicine Hat
Join Prairie Sprinter for a day out in Alberta Special Areas to visit ACADIA BRETHREN HUTTERITE COLONY.
As we travel to our destination, enjoy the views of the prairie landscape waking up to Spring after a long Winter. The fields will turn to green, the farmers will be busy seeding their lands, and the odd wildflower may be blooming. We arrive at Acadia Brethren Hutterite Colony where our hosts will greet us with a home-made lunch. After a delicious meal the afternoon will be spent having an exclusive peek into the everyday life on the Colony. There will be time to explore the farming and colony operations, visit with the women who run the Colony kitchen, and purchase some home-made and grown goodies to take home – an experience not to be missed.
