Price is per person, plus 5% GST.
Leave the city behind and journey into the Alberta prairie. From your window admire big Alberta skies, endless farm and ranchland, and spend time counting train cars on the railway line. Late morning we will arrive at Dinosaur Provincial Park UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will leave the vast prairies behind, and step into another world... into the heart of the Canadian Badlands, the largest stretch of this unique geography in Canada.
Upon arrival you will find yourself surrounded by rugged landscape and sandstone hoodoos. You will have time to learn about the history of the park and the pre-historic giants that once roamed this area over 75 million years ago. It’s nearly impossible not to stumble upon a dinosaur fossil in the park - so keep your camera ready for exciting finds, beautiful scenery, native wildlife, birds and the magnificent cottonwood trees that call the park home. Take time to browse to FOSSIL EXHIBITS located in the Visitor Centre (your admission is included). At 2pm the EXPLORERS BUS TOUR (your admission is included) will depart. With an expert interpreter as your guide, take a 2-hour adventure into the park’s protected areas to view the landscape up close and seek dinosaur fossils.
DEPART 9am Medicine Hat College Main Entrance - Please arrive 15 minutes prior to departure time to load the bus and get settled in for your journey.
RETURN Approximately 6pm. The bus will drop you off at the Medicine Hat College Main Entrance.
